The Jackets faced off against the Blue Knights at home in the first game, securing a 4-0 defeat, and then Cedarville traveled to Urbana and won there as well by a score of 6-0.

In the first contest, the Yellow Jackets started off hot, tallying three runs in the first inning. Chris Ward brought in Paul Hembekides with a single, and Nate Davenport followed with a two-run homerun. The Jackets scored again in the fourth on an Alex Beelen sacrifice fly.

On the mound for Cedarville, Michael Roe improved to an incredible 8-0 on the season, allowing no runs on just one hit. In relief, Sean Larkin came in for three scoreless innings. Each of the Jackets pitchers had three strikeouts.

With the victory, Cedarville brought its win total to 34, the most in school history. The Jackets will compete next in the NCCAA Midwest Regional on May 9-10 in Spring Arbor, MI.
