The line for Chucks stretched past the information desk in the Student Center on Thursday, November 17 as students waited with their friends for Chucksgiving. Chucks was filled with extra tables, people and food as Cedarville celebrated their version of Thanksgiving before the students left for break. Midterm elections took place on November 8th in the United States. 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 seats out of the 100 in the Senate were contested. One year ago, during Homecoming 2021, Cedarville University announced a campaign of historic proportions. This campaign, called “One Thousand Days Transformed,” would require $125 million. Cedarville’s retiree luncheon celebrates and brings together retired staff to honor their dedication to the university

Cedarville University hosts a monthly retiree luncheon, Reconnect, for retired faculty and staff on the first Tuesday of every month. The most recent luncheon was held on Nov. 1, 2022 in the Stevens Student Center event rooms with around 65 retired staff in attendance.
