There’s a new face on the sidelines for Cedarville women’s soccer this season. Following the retirement of John McGillivray, new head coach Jonathan Meade is ready to assume the role and take the program to even higher heights. The Lady Jackets got a much-needed victory on homecoming Saturday, defeating conference-opponent Ohio Valley 1-0. All three of the Jackets victories this season have been 1-0. Alyssa Maillefer scored the game’s only goal three minutes in off an assist from her teammate Lauren Lichty. The Lady Jackets pulled through on an overtime goal to defeat Trevecca Nazarene 1-0 in the second overtime Thursday. Freshman Hannah Atkinson netted a goal into the left corner with two and a half minutes left to win the game.
