The Cedarville Lady Jackets looked to have their hands full after a difficult first quarter against Malone in the opening round of the 2019 G-MAC Tournament. However, a huge second quarter effort gave the Lady Jackets all they needed to pull away from Malone, winning 75-55. Jeremy Smith will perform his senior theater project, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” at 8 p.m. on Feb. 23.

ALT Night 4 Brings Wreck it Ralph to Lil Sibs

Last Friday, Cedarville students experienced the fourth ALT Night of the 2018--2019 year, held in the Stevens Student Center (SSC). ALT 4 included food, games, and activities, as well as 3 showings of the night’s movie: “Wreck it Ralph 2.”

ALT 4 is coming up this Friday night. It will feature the movie Ralph Breaks the Internet, which is newly released digitally this month, as well as five food trucks, including Young’s Jersey Dairy, The Christian Bros Meat Company, Cupzilla, The Flying Pepper and Pitabilities. The decorations include the lights strung in the upper SSC, which are set to flicker on and off, so they “glitch” like the internet in the movie.

Recording Artist Visits Cedarville

Singer, songwriter, and novelist Andrew Peterson gave a free concert Tuesday night in Cedarville’s Dixon Ministry Center.
Earlier that day, he spoke in chapel, and then he spoke again Wednesday morning, and finally gave a Q&A session afterward that lasted about an hour.
Peterson has been working as an artist for 20 years, recording songs infused with his faith in Christ.

Preview: Art Professors to Display at Springfield Exhibit

Cedarville professors Zac Benson and Annie Lee-Zimerle will present art installments at the Springfield Museum of Art. They will attend the reception for the exhibit’s official opening on Feb. 16, and the artwork will remain on display for two months after.
