Students visiting the Cedarville University Writing Center for the first time this semester may be surprised at the greeting of one of its newest members: Katniss, a 6-month-old service dog in training. Jackets Fall in Season Opener

  Cedarville lost their season opener at home to Truman State Friday night by a score of 82-70. JC Faubion lead the Jackets with 20 points and five rebounds. Easton Bazzoli added 15 points and six rebounds and Robert Okoro had 13 points and five rebounds. One of the biggest issues for the Jackets highlighted by Head Coach Pat Estepp was getting production from their bench. The Cedarville Yellow Jackets controlled nearly every facet of the game in their 80-68 win over the Maryville Saints on Saturday night. With the win, the Jackets improve to 1-1 to finish the Cedarville-hosted Don Callan Classic.
