Brett Faro has recently been named the men’s head soccer coach.
He was the interim head coach for the soccer team since July and has led the team to a 12-3-3 record in his first season. He has been an assistant coach with the Yellow Jackets for the past two seasons. Faro said he is excited for the future of the Yellow Jackets.
“I am very passionate about this program and the direction it is headed,” Faro said. “We desire to provide kids with the best possible Christian soccer experience out there.”
Faro is losing a large number of seniors but said he is confident in his up-and-coming players.
“We desire to be a very deep program that is able to maintain balance and quality on a yearly basis,” Faro said, “and I believe we have that right now.”
Faro attended Messiah College, where he played soccer for four years. During his time with Messiah, Faro was a two-time captain and won four national championships.
