Lady Jackets Earn Record-Breaking Win On Senior Day

Senior Day could not have gone better for the Cedarville Lady Jackets, who took down Ursuline 102-80 in their final home regular season game. The win held immense significance in the G-MAC Tournament, granting Cedarville (20-6, 16-4 G-MAC) a first round home game on March 5. In terms of the regular season, the Jackets end undefeated at home and are currently on a four game win streak heading into their final two games before the tournament.

Cedarville had much to celebrate on Senior Night, as they handled their business against Lake Erie on Thursday, winning 72-52. The win keeps the Jackets (16-10, 13-5) at fourth in the G-MAC standings, with the conference tournament quickly approaching.

Cedarville Lady Jackets Calm the Lake Erie Storm

The Cedarville women came into Thursday night’s game with confidence after a monstrous 90-40 win over Tiffin this past weekend. Their electricity carried over from Saturday into the first half, with the Lady Jackets garnering an 11-point lead at halftime.
The second half proved to be no different, as the Lady Jackets cruised to a 27-point margin, defeating Lake Erie 88-61. The Yellow Jackets improve to 29-6 on the season and 15-4 in the conference.

Jeremy Smith will perform his senior theater project, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” at 8 p.m. on Feb. 23.

ALT Night 4 Brings Wreck it Ralph to Lil Sibs

Last Friday, Cedarville students experienced the fourth ALT Night of the 2018--2019 year, held in the Stevens Student Center (SSC). ALT 4 included food, games, and activities, as well as 3 showings of the night’s movie: “Wreck it Ralph 2.”

It will feature the movie Ralph Breaks the Internet, which is newly released digitally this month, as well as five food trucks, including Young’s Jersey Dairy, The Christian Bros Meat Company, Cupzilla, The Flying Pepper and Pitabilities. Recording Artist Visits Cedarville

Singer, songwriter, and novelist Andrew Peterson gave a free concert Tuesday night in Cedarville’s Dixon Ministry Center.
Earlier that day, he spoke in chapel, and then he spoke again Wednesday morning, and finally gave a Q&A session afterward that lasted about an hour.
