Ben Tuttle took the win at Cedarville’s Friendship Invitational to lead the men’s cross-county team to a second place finish with 41 points behind Cincinnati’s 24. The Cedarville volleyball team ­­­defeated Shawnee State in a tightly contested match, beating the Bears in five sets on Saturday afternoon. The Jackets ­­­won two of three on this week's home stand. Cedarville fell behind early, giving up a goal in the 11th minute off a deflected shot. The Cedarville women’s soccer team lost their first game of the season in conference play Thursday night, falling to Trevecca Nazarene University 2-0. Despite a 7-1 shots on goal advantage in the first half, Cedarville couldn’t capitalize and went into the halftime break tied 0-0. Cedarville’s men’s soccer team rallied late tonight, battling Trevecca Nazarene University to a 2-2 tie in their G-MAC opener. Cedarville students will have the opportunity to enjoy a free show this weekend, put on by student org DTR, that is guaranteed to make them laugh.
