Cedarville’s Residence Life division added Community Life Coordinators (CLCs) to the university's two unit-style dorms at the start of the 2015-2016 school year as a result of students and resident assistants (RAs) in those dorms not being able to connect well the previous year. The role of a CLC is to assist the RA and bring together the students in the units.

Thomas White, president of Cedarville University, has been chosen to serve on the Religious Liberty Advisory Board for Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio. The announcement came Jan. 5.

The Jackets matched their season-high with a five-game winning streak, defeating the Wilberforce Bulldogs 94-73 on Saturday night. Junior J.C. Faubion led the way, tying a career-high with 35 points on 75 percent shooting and five assists. Cedarville head coach Pat Estepp said Faubion matched his career high in points because of his off-ball movement.
“He didn’t stop moving,” Estepp said. “He came off screens and was cutting really well. That is a big reason he got those 35.”
