Strong Second Half Leads to Lady Jacket Victory
The Cedarville Lady Jackets ended the Malone Pioneers’ eight-game winning streak with a 73-61 win on Thursday evening. Baylee Bennett and Breanne Watterworth scored 20 points each in the game.

Cedarville Crushes Salem International
The Cedarville Yellow Jackets crushed the Salem International Tigers 89-61 on Thursday night. Cedarville shot 51 percent from the field, good for their third-best shooting performance of the season.
J.C. Faubion scored 17 points and pulled down 10 boards. The senior also distributed the ball well, dishing out seven assists. Kwenton Scott also contributed 17 points, all of which came in the second half.In addition, Scott grabbed seven rebounds in the contest.

Higher Standards Draw Bennett
The Cedarville women’s basketball team added a new face to the starting lineup this season. Sophomore transfer student Baylee Bennett joined the team this season and became the starting point guard after Abby Wolford went down with an injury.
“When we heard that she’d be interested in transferring, we were really excited about bringing her onto our squad,” said Kari Hoffman, Cedarville’s women’s basketball coach.

Ah, winter — a beautiful time of year, with so much to look forward to. Christmas cheer, winter break, and time with family. However, after the fun is over and it is still bitterly cold in February, it’s often hard to find something to do indoors.
As the temperature outside drops, Cedarville students are going to have to find creative ways to spend those long weekends. To prevent mid-winter boredom, Cedars has found six locations within driving distance that are low-cost and unique.
