The women’s volleyball team sweeped Ohio Dominican in three straight sets on Friday night, October 25.
The night was wild with anticipation, with Cedarville’s mascot rallying the large crowd. The competition was dominated by outside hitters Madelyn Hensley and Cassi Shields, with a combined 29 kills. The jackets emphatically won the first two, beating the Panthers 25-21 and 25-15.
They dueled back and forth in the final set, causing fans to jump to their feet for what they thought would be the match point. Cedarville ended up winning the final set 31-29, and improve to 9-8 on the season.
They will look to continue this dominance against Thomas More on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
