The second ALT Night of the school year, organized by SCAB and Student Life Programs, was held Oct. 30 and included food trucks, pumpkin carving, corn-hole tournaments, fire pits for roasting marshmallows and multiple showings of “The Village.”
Cedarville’s second ALT night of the semester featured a drive-in movie for the first time. Students parked in the back half of the SSC parking lot and watched “The Village” on a big screen. The movie was also shown in the DeVries Theatre in the SSC.
SGA’s philanthropy team sells Bills Donut holes at the ALT night to raise money for the 937 Project, the 2015-2016 campus philanthropy project.

“The Village,” a story about a small, isolated countryside village whose belief in mysterious creatures crumbles and comes to an end, was shown at the ALT Night. “The Village” was directed by M. Night Shyamalan and stars Bryce Dallas Howard as Ivy Walker (pictured here) and Joaquin Phoenix as Lucius Hunt.
Students had the opportunity to order food from local food trucks and restaurants such as Chick-fil-A, Tortilla, and Pitabilities.
