Rinnova’s new coffee cart becomes a campus staple
By Bella Agnello
Rinnova saw staggering lines when they switched to using coffee beans from Pettibone Coffee in Dayton, OH. At high-traffic times of day, lines can stretch as far back as to Panda Express. This year, help came in the form of Rinnova’s new portable coffee cart.
Starting November 5, the Rinnova cart will be up and running in the BTS on Tuesdays and Thursdays after chapel until 4 p.m. Students can pay for their drinks with cash or flex dollars.

On October 29, the Cedarville women’s volleyball team beat Thomas More in four sets in a tight race to the finish. They took the first set, faltered in the second then were victorious through the next two. The final match scores were 25-20, 23-25, 25-16 and 25-23.
But from the beginning, Cedarville played like they were tired. The Saints took the lead with some good blocks, but the Jackets quickly came to their senses and began to take over the game with strong ...
A helping hand in healing: Cedarville’s partnership with a confidential advocate
By Madison Dyer
For many college students, each semester represents an opportunity for a fresh start, where what happened in the past can stay in the past. Unfortunately, that is not always the case. It is because of this that Cedarville University partnered with Violence Free Futures and provided a confidential advocate with a unique opportunity to aid troubled students on their healing journeys.
Her name is Anna Beckloff, and this is her first academic year as a counselor at ...

By Bella Agnello
(Pictured Above- Aaron Cook and family)
In 1986, 9-year-old Aaron Cook heard the Gospel from a guest preacher at church and went down to the front of the congregation to receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Cook calls it his moment of conversion and his first attempt at evangelism – he brought his grandfather down to the front with him. Though he did not know it yet, God would call him to a life dedicated to surrender, evangelism and discipleship.
Cook grew ...

By Ben Konuch
As an election year rips through America, a divided political climate claws at Christians and non-Christians alike — college students are no exception, even those from outside the country.
Cedarville University is home to over 5,000 undergraduate students who all face the political rhetoric of America at a crossroad. Of that number, over 15% of total undergraduate students are from other countries, meaning that over 750 international students face a charged politi...
‘The Wild Robot’ is a gorgeous and heartfelt film
By Janie Walenda
I’m excited for a lot of films every year. It comes with my job, and more importantly my lifelong love of cinema. But ever since I saw the first trailer of “The Wild Robot,” I was hooked. The animation, the music and the emotion packed into the short trailer quickly made “The Wild Robot” my most anticipated movie of 2024.
While sometimes trailers can be deceptive, I’m thrilled to say this one wasn’t. “The Wild Robot” is not just stunningly animated, but ...
“The Penguin” midseason review: Gotham’s depravity sprints full speed ahead
By Ben Konuch
“All of a sudden, you’re on my side? Look at that! My little helper? You’re desperate. Scrambling.”
“The Penguin” starts off strong. Its first episode shows nuance, great writing, intriguing characterization of its main players and justifies why we needed to explore more of Gotham from the streets instead of perched upon its rooftops. But as “The Penguin” expanded its episode count from one to four, it's proving that every strength the premiere showcased is ...

But in week 5, even the most casual football fans could turn on a game and be enthralled with the action. Their eyes glued to the screen, games like the Ravens and Bengals fighting back and forth into ...
