The last time the Cedarville men’s basketball team played Ohio Valley, it took overtime for the Yellow Jackets to finally defeat the Scots. Tonight was quite the opposite. The Yellow Jackets dominated from start to finish in a 87-65 blowout.

The Central State Marauders tallied 11 steals as they defeated the Yellow Jacket men’s basketball team at Cedarville 84-69 on Saturday, Feb. 1. This loss puts Cedarville’s record at 5-13 overall and 3-3 in the G-MAC, the Yellow Jackets’ Division II NCAA conference.

The record was for the world’s largest knockout game, a record set by Iowa State at 571 people. Cedarville’s knockout game reached 291 people.

The Cedarville men’s basketball team held on late against Davis & Elkins tonight, withstanding numerous comeback attempts by the visiting Senators en route to a 63-58 victory.

The Lady Jackets basketball team defeated a scrappy Wilberforce squad at home Jan. 11. The final score was 87-57.
The Jackets used a big first half run to take control of the game. With the score standing at 21-16 with seven minutes to go, their charge was fueled by man-to-man defense.
