The Cedarville women’s soccer team defeated McKendree 3-1 on Thursday night to claim their first NCAA Division II tournament game in school history.
The program qualified for the tournament just twice in the past, losing their opening match on both occasions.

The Cedarville University men’s soccer team suffered a 1-0 defeat to the Tiffin Dragons on Saturday, October 1.
A biting wind matched the cold, bitter mood of some 345 fans who came to watch the match on homecoming weekend.

The Cedarville volleyball team swarmed the court as the final point of the fifth set was secured, earning them a 3-2 victory after a hard-fought match. The Cedarville University men’s soccer team squeezed by the Trevecca Nazarene University Trojans 1-0 on September 15.
Jake Johnson netted the lone goal off a penalty kick in the 63rd minute.
