The Cedarville men’s soccer team won the G-MAC tournament Saturday for the third straight year, defeating Alderson Broaddus University 1-1, (4-2).
Cedarville tied the game with less than 20 minutes left. No goals would be scored for the rest of regulation and the two overtime periods. The game, and the conference tournament championship, went into penalty kicks.

Cedarville’s men’s soccer team defeated visiting Ohio Valley in the G-MAC tournament semifinal Thursday night in a defensive struggle, 2-0. The win advances the Jackets to the conference final to be held 1 p.m. Nov. 7 on the home field.

Cedarville clinched a first round bye in the conference tournament with a 3-2 win over Salem International, thanks to senior midfielder Zachary Harris’s late goal. In a game with eight yellow cards, two own goals, and over 40 fouls, a goal in the final minute of the game caused quite the excitement. Cedarville’s women’s volleyball team had little trouble with the Ursuline Arrows Tuesday night, sweeping the visiting team 25-15, 25-15, 25-17, to increase their winning streak to eight matches.
