The Cedarville men’s soccer team won the G-MAC tournament Saturday for the third straight year, defeating Alderson Broaddus University 1-1, (4-2).

Cedarville’s men’s soccer team defeated visiting Ohio Valley in the G-MAC tournament semifinal Thursday night in a defensive struggle, 2-0. The win advances the Jackets to the conference final to be held 1 p.m. Nov. 7 on the home field.

Cedarville clinched a first round bye in the conference tournament with a 3-2 win over Salem International, thanks to senior midfielder Zachary Harris’s late goal. In a game with eight yellow cards, two own goals, and over 40 fouls, a goal in the final minute of the game caused quite the excitement. Senior Connor Gilmour scored his NCAA-leading 12th goal of the season with just 7:27 left to play to give the Cedarville men’s soccer team a 2-1 victory over visiting Mercyhurst University Wednesday night.
