Cedarville Volleyball Makes First National Tournament Appearance

For the first time in school history, the Cedarville Yellow Jacket volleyball team made an appearance in the NCAA Division II National Tournament. Cedarville won the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) tournament to secure their bid in the national tournament. Cedarville swept Ohio Valley 3-0 Tuesday night by scores of 25-18, 25-23, and 25-18. Gabby Olson lead the way for the Yellow Jackets with 13 kills. Lady Jackets Take Home Opener

The Lady Jackets won their home opener against Findlay Tuesday night by a score of 3-1. Findlay took the first set, 25-23, and Cedarville took the last three sets by scores of 25-21, 25-14, and 25-23. It is Cedarville’s ninth straight victory, improving their overall record to 9-2. CU Jackets Volleyball Home Opener

The Lady Jackets emerge victorious against the University of Findlay at CU's annual Volleyball Home Opener on Tuesday, Sept.  20. This event is one of the biggest volleyball events in NCAA DII, said Doug Walters, head coach of the women's volleyball team, and the entire student body was encouraged to attend. Cedarville’s women’s volleyball team had little trouble with the Ursuline Arrows Tuesday night, sweeping the visiting team 25-15, 25-15, 25-17, to increase their winning streak to eight matches. The women's volleyball squad extended its winning streak to six matches Oct. 2, in front of the homecoming crowd. The Lady Jackets swept Kentucky Wesleyan, 25-23, 26-24, 25-11. Jackets Defeat Indy in Front of Record Crowd

In their first home game of the season, and in front of a record crowd Tuesday night, the Cedarville women's volleyball team defeated the University of Indianapolis in a thrilling five sets, 17-25, 26-24, 25-21, 23-25, and 15-12. More than 1,100 fans attended the game, breaking the previous record of 1,074 that was set three years ago against Mount Vernon Nazarene. The Cedarville women's volleyball team won their third consecutive G-MAC Championship on Saturday afternoon with a victory over Ohio Valley University.
