A seven-man Ohio Valley (0-9) squad was unable to contest with a sharp Cedarville (8-2) side Wednesday night as the Jackets snagged their sixth win and third sweep in a row over the Fighting Scots. The Cedarville Lady Jackets (2-2) dropped their fourth game of the season 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-18) to the University of Findlay Oilers. The Jackets could not overcome a scrappy yet dominate Oiler offense and were therefore unable to run their own front row consistently.

A scrappy Kentucky Wesleyan team took down the Cedarville Lady Jackets in straight sets with scores of 25-23, 25-10 and 25-15. The promise the Jackets showed in the first quickly fell to numerous errors and a lack of intensity. They now move to 14-9, with a record of 6-3 in the G-MAC, keeping them in fourth place.

Long volleys and scrappy play were the name of the game in Cedarville volleyball’s final game of the 2019 Cedarville University Invite in which they were handed a 3-2 loss to the University of Indianapolis. It was a hard fought battle by both teams with scores of 25-18, 25-22, 23-25, 22-25 and 9-15. The Jackets now have a record of 1-2.
