The Cedarville Lady Jackets (4-1) avenged last season’s loss to the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds on Monday night, handling Indy 77-55. The Lady Jackets shot 53 percent from the field and 43 percent from behind the 3-point line in the game.

Cedarville Slips by Lake Superior State

The Cedarville Yellow Jackets upset the Lake Superior State Lakers on Saturday evening, 83-78, to close out the Don Callan Classic. Cedarville swept their part of the tournament, going 2-0 to improve its record to 2-2.
Senior guard Patrick Bain led the Yellow Jackets with 24 points, six assists and five rebounds on 9-14 shooting. Senior forward Robert Okoro added 12 points and four rebounds and junior guard Kwenton Scott had 12 points, all of which came in the first half.

CU Men’s Basketball to Rely on Chemistry

The Cedarville University men’s basketball program features many new faces on this season’s roster. The team loses three seniors and the team’s third-highest scorer from a year ago in Dezhonetae Bennett.
Cedarville welcomes seven new players to the roster, including two transfers. Yellow Jacket head coach Patrick Estepp said the roster turnover is a cause for concern. Replacing leadership from a year ago will be a colossal challenge to this season’s team.

Lady Jackets Primed to Compete for G-MAC Title

The 2017-18 edition of the Cedarville Lady Jackets basketball team may be the most experienced in recent memory. The Lady Jackets lose just one player from last season, and return 99 percent (2,000 of 2,015 points) of their scoring from last season.
Lady Jackets head coach Kari Hoffman returns for her second season at the helm, and said the experience on the team will allow her to get ahead.

The Cedarville Lady Jackets triumphed over the Ohio Dominican Panthers on Saturday afternoon, defeating the Ohio Dominican Panthers 3-2 on Senior Day in the Callan Athletic Center.
The Lady Jackets were forced to work for their Senior Day win, winning 25-15, 25-14, 26-28, 25-23 and 15-10.

The Cedarville Lady Jackets (15-12, 10-3 G-MAC) dropped a pivotal G-MAC showdown against the Hillsdale Chargers (21-3, 11-2 G-MAC) on Friday night in four sets. The loss was a setback for Cedarville, as they dropped a full game behind Hillsdale to third place in the conference.

The Cedarville Lady Jackets (15-11, 10-2 G-MAC) returned to home to sweep the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds on Tuesday night. Cedarville kept pace with G-MAC leading Findlay (11-1 G-MAC) and Hillsdale (10-2 G-MAC).

The Cedarville Lady Jackets (8-10, 6-2 G-MAC) outlasted the Walsh Cavaliers (13-4, 7-2 G-MAC) 3-2 in a pivotal G-MAC showdown on Friday night. With the win, Cedarville closed the gap to Malone and Findlay (both 8-1 in G-MAC) in the conference standings.

The Cedarville Lady Jackets (7-9, 5-1 G-MAC) pushed their winning streak to four games with a 3-0 sweep of G-MAC rival Trevecca on Friday night. Cedarville continued its dominance at home, improving to 4-0 at the Callan Athletic Center and winning its 12th straight set at home.
