The Cedarville men’s basketball team has earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Tournament for the first time in school history.

The No. 6 seed Cedarville Yellow Jackets pulled off an impressive 68-66 upset to stun No. 2 Hillsdale in a G-MAC semifinal matchup Friday night. The Cedarville men’s basketball team used a late push to escape with a 70-64 victory over Ohio Dominican on Saturday afternoon. The game marked the final home contest of the season for the Jackets as seniors Conner TenHove, Quinton Green, Branden Maughmer, Isaiah Speelman, and Kollin Van Horn were honored before tip-off.

The Yellow Jackets put together a hard-fought game against NABC No. 15 Hillsdale Saturday night, but came up just short against the Chargers, falling by a final score of 58-57.
With the loss, Cedarville drops to 5-4 overall with a 3-1 record in G-MAC play.
