Wittenberg Rugby Defeats Cedarville in Close Contest

The Cedarville University rugby team lost their first match of the season to Wittenberg University on Sept. 14. They battled for 80 minutes, with Wittenberg coming out on top, 24-12. Wittenberg scored early and left Cedarville in a deficit that they could not overcome. Wittenberg took the lead 24-0 early in the second half but did not score again the rest of the game. The class of 2016 may know her as the girl who sang a piece of “Defying Gravity” from “Wicked” at last fall’s small group game show competition.
