Org Hosts Events to Raise Hunger and Homelessness Awareness
POINT, a campus org, is hosting events this week to raise awareness and money for National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.
POINT is a local chapter of a larger non-profit organization. Kayleigh Wideman, org president, said the organization exists to connect to charities and bring awareness to the needs of others. Jackets Volleyball Three-Peats as Conference Champions
The Cedarville women's volleyball team won their third consecutive G-MAC Championship on Saturday afternoon with a victory over Ohio Valley University. There was a lot of energy in the Callan Athletic Center as the teams and fans, alike, knew the title was on the line.
“Ohio Valley brought a whole bus load of students, and so obviously the big advantage for us is playing at home,” Coach Doug Walters said. “We play in front of the best crowds here at home."

Jackets Hold Off Panthers in Season Opener
1,375 pajama-clad fans packed into the Callan Athletic Center Friday night to watch the Cedarville men’s basketball team win its home opener against Ohio Dominican in a close game, 90-86.
Due to the G-MAC volleyball tournament, the game tipped off at 11:00 p.m. and head coach Pat Estepp made it a pajama night. The fans were on their feet for most of the game, only sitting down during timeouts.

Lady Jackets Sweep Panthers, Advance to Championship Game
Cedarville’s volleyball team won the G-MAC semifinal match on Friday night, defeating Kentucky Wesleyan in straight sets. This marks the third time this season that the Jackets have defeated the Panthers.
Cedarville opened the match with a lot of energy. The Jackets never trailed in either of the first two sets, winning them 25-20 and 25-21.

OneVoice Gospel Choir offers a platform for students, faculty and staff to worship their Creator. The choir, which began 14 years ago, expresses the unity of the body of Christ.
“Everyone coming together from different backgrounds, cultures, denominations,” said OneVoice member Jordan Redfield, “it is a picture of what Heaven will be like when the church is unified.”

The Inversions will perform their fall concert Saturday, Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cedarville Opera House.
