Faubion Lifts Cedarville over Davis & Elkins

Cedarville defeated Davis & Elkins Thursday night 72-70 on a game-winning shot by J.C. Faubion.
Faubion made a midrange jump shot with 5.5 seconds left to break the tie with the Senators. Davis & Elkins got one more shot off before the final buzzer, but missed it.
Cedarville (11-11) lost their last four games to Davis & Elkins. The win extends their winning streak to six games and improved their conference record to 3-4.

Lady Jackets Pull Away Late
The Cedarville Lady Jackets picked up a pivotal conference win over the Davis & Elkins Senators on Thursday evening, 80-73. Four Cedarville starters scored in double figures, including two with at least 20 points.
Breanne Watterworth was the Lady Jackets’ leading scorer with 21 points. Regina Hochstetler scored 20 points.
Baylee Bennett scored 16 points and added seven assists. Bennett said the win was huge as the team enters the final month of the regular season.
