The first Christian university to launch ChatGPT Edu campus-wide
By Bella Agnello
On Friday, August 8, Dr. White announced Cedarville University to be the first evangelical Christian university to launch an OpenAI initiative campus-wide.
The decision came as a response to the rapid adaptation of artificial intelligence (AI) in the workforce as a time-saving tool. When Dr. White, president of Cedarville, met with the Cabinet on their retreat, they did not immediately set out to make the university the first Christian college to adopt ChatGPT Edu. ...

Deck the Halls draws Cedarville students together through laughter, competition and festive cheer
By Rachel Schuck
Dashing to and fro, students leapt over sidewalks and crossed icy roads. Clambering to reach the front of the line, they pushed through the crowd to make it on time. Jackets in tow, they rushed to the door. As it swung open wide, they hurried inside.
Despite freezing hands and chattering teeth, students waited for their turn to arrive. While some huddled in clumps or jumped up and down in line, some laughed with their friends and threw snowballs. They stood in anticipa...

One of the largest Christian denominations in the world, yet one of the smallest denominations at Cedarville University, Anglicans make up approximately 1.6% of the student body, according to a self-reported survey from last semester.
Because Anglican students compose a small percentage of the student population, not many know exactly what Anglicans believe. Justice Wolf, a third year Biblical Studies major, explained an easier way to break down Anglican beliefs.
“Y...

Cedarville University’s harpists
By Bella Agnello
The Friday before finals week, students typically spend the afternoon getting ready to perform their skits during Deck the Halls. But if they were to stop by the Stevens Student Center for an early dinner, they might be able to spot three hooded creatures wheeling large, covered objects from the Dixon Ministry Center to the SSC. And if they stay for a while, they might be pleased to hear the sounds of celestial Christmas cheer.
These creatures are actually the harpists ...
How do Cedarville’s faculty and staff celebrate Thanksgiving?
by Sierra Perkinson
As the fall semester creeps to an end, both faculty and staff looked forward to the welcome rest of Thanksgiving just as much as their students did.
Associate Professor of History Dr. Robert Clark often enjoys reflecting on Thanksgiving’s origins and being reminded of the uniqueness of the often overlooked holiday.
“Thanksgiving is a unique holiday…in the national sense of holidays,” Clark said. “Even different than Christmas, which is recognized in ...
