Cedarfest 2017

CU Involvement Fair and Kickoff Party 2017

Every fall, CU hosts a 2-hour fair and semester "kickoff party", during which campus orgs and local ministries can set up booths to show students what opportunities are available to them during their time at Cedarville. While the event is aimed primarily at the year's incoming freshmen, all students are highly encouraged to attend and take part in the festivities. Photos by Naomi Harward

Solar Eclipse At CU

Students gather outside the ENS observatory on August 21 to see the first coast-to-coast solar eclipse in 99 years. Telescopes with solar filters were set up on the lawn, and eclipse glasses were also provided. The event was also projected on a screen inside the observatory. Although the full eclipse itself did not occur until around 2:30 p.m., people began arriving on site as soon as 1 p.m. in hopes of securing a good viewing spot.
