Cedarville Falls to Ohio State in Exhibition

The highest anticipated exhibition game in Cedarville history was fun for a bit, but the NCAA Division I No. 16 Ohio State Buckeyes flexed their muscles over the unranked Division II Yellow Jackets, winning 95-52. While the Yellow Jackets showed promise for the first 15 minutes or so, Ohio State was able to run away with the game.

Walk-off win makes winner of Jackets, Schleinitz

The Cedarville baseball team split a doubleheader at home April 5 with Oakland City, winning the opener 6-5 on Logan Eby’s one-out walk-off double that scored Elijah Sanchez in the 12th inning. The Oaks scored twice in their final at-bat to win the second game 4-3. Sophomore Noah Schleinitz pitched the final 2 1/3 innings and struck out four to earn the win in the first game. A group of guys carry in a large, old-style television and a GameCube and start setting up on a desk in the classroom, which is quickly being converted into a gaming tournament field. Cedarville softball looking to get on a roll in G-MAC play

In sports and in life it is hard into a rhythm. It’s even harder to get back into one. Well, that’s what the Cedarville Lady Jackets softball team did March 23 with a 3-2 victory over Findlay in the second game of a doubleheader.
The Lady Jackets started the season hot with seven victories in their first eight games. Not only that, but on March 13, the Lady Jackets were ranked the 19th best softball team in NCAA Division II. That’s the highest they have been ranked....
