Homecourt advantage will likely be a moot aspect of basketball for the coming weeks with the spread of the coronavirus.
Luckily for the Cedarville Lady Jackets, they didn't need fans as they beat Roberts Wesleyan in an empty gym to open the NCCAA Midwest Regional Tournament on Wednesday evening, 92-62. Cedarville University Suspends In-person Classes through March 27 Due to Coronavirus

Cedarville University President Dr. Thomas White announced Wednesday that the university will suspend all in-person classes through the next two weeks due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak. Classes will continue to meet Wednesday. The suspension of in-person class meetings begins Thursday and runs through March 27. Classes will be administered online beginning Monday.

The Cedarville Yellow Jackets outsniped the Malone Pioneers in the second half on their way to a seventh-straight victory on Thursday evening, winning 74-58. Cedarville shot 67.7% from the field while Malone made just 33.3% of its shots in the second half.
