Five days ago, on October 31, 2024, the Cedarville University men’s soccer team suffered a grueling defeat to the Thomas More Saints, their fourth consecutive loss of the season.

The Cedarville Women’s soccer team defeated Tiffin University on senior day 1-0 in a Saturday afternoon matchup. The Jackets fired a collective 27 shots at Tiffin’s goalkeeper, with a successful goal from senior Megan McClish in the 60th minute. McClish was assisted by Addie Erslan for a goal that was rebounded off the crossbar and passed to the three-yard line by Erslan, where McClish put the ball in the net for the first and only time in the entire game.

On October 29, the Cedarville women’s volleyball team beat Thomas More in four sets in a tight race to the finish. They took the first set, faltered in the second then were victorious through the next two. The final match scores were 25-20, 23-25, 25-16 and 25-23.

The night was wild with anticipation, with Cedarville’s mascot rallying the large crowd. The competition was dominated by outside hitters Madelyn Hensley and Cassi Shields, with a combined 29 kills. The jackets emphatically won the first two, beating the Panthers 25-21 and 25-15.
