The Cedarville Yellow Jackets (8-9, 3-7 GMAC) lost a hard-fought game to the Hillsdale Chargers on Saturday evening, 82-72. This loss marks the third straight for the Yellow Jackets, while the Chargers get their second straight win after beating Ohio Valley on Thursday.

Yellow Jackets Clipped in Overtime

The Cedarville Yellow Jackets (6-5, 1-3 G-MAC) lost a tight affair to the Findlay Oilers on Saturday evening in overtime, 79-78. The men’s team lost in overtime right after the women’s team lost in double overtime to Findlay.

Bain Reaches 1,000 Career Points as Cedarville Topples Trevecca

Patrick Bain scored his 1,000th career point in the Cedarville Yellow Jackets (6-2, 1-0 G-MAC) conference opening win over the Trevecca Nazarene Trojans. Bain finished with 21 points, all of which came in the second half. Bain also added seven rebounds, five assists and two blocks.
Bain said he’s humbled to play college basketball, and even more so to score 1,000 points.

Cedarville Blows Out Shawnee State in Testy Affair

The Cedarville Yellow Jackets (5-2) blew out the Shawnee State Bears on Saturday night by a final count of 106-80. Cedarville shot 63 percent from the field and 69 percent from behind the 3-point line in the game.
Junior forward Joey Morlan broke out for a career-high 20 points on 6-8 shooting from behind the arc. Morlan said ending his slow start to the season tonight will give him confidence going forward.

The Cedarville Yellow Jackets upset the Lake Superior State Lakers on Saturday evening, 83-78, to close out the Don Callan Classic. Cedarville swept their part of the tournament, going 2-0 to improve its record to 2-2.

The Cedarville University men’s basketball program features many new faces on this season’s roster. The team loses three seniors and the team’s third-highest scorer from a year ago in Dezhonetae Bennett.
Cedarville welcomes seven new players to the roster, including two transfers. Yellow Jacket head coach Patrick Estepp said the roster turnover is a cause for concern. Replacing leadership from a year ago will be a colossal challenge to this season’s team.

The Cedarville Yellow Jackets defeated the Ohio Valley Fighting Scots Saturday night 99-71 on senior night. All three Cedarville seniors played great games.
J.C. Faubion lead the team in scoring with 27 points and grabbed six rebounds. Justice Montgomery scored 14 points and added six assists. Easton Bazzoli scored 10 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and dished out eight assists.
