The Cedarville Yellow Jackets crushed the Salem International Tigers 89-61 on Thursday night. Cedarville shot 51 percent from the field, good for their third-best shooting performance of the season.

Jackets Ahead of Schedule
Coach Pat Estepp said he believes his men’s basketball team is further ahead in preseason than usual. He said there are two factors that contributed to the team’s preparation. The first was a successful team trip to Italy and the other was team bonding over the summer.

Cedarville defeated Wilberforce Saturday night 77-69. This is Cedarville’s second straight win, and they also improved to 4-4 on the season.
Patrick Mitchell had a very impressive showing that led Wilberforce with 32 points and 13 rebounds. While Patrick Bain led Cedarville in scoring with 19 points and J.C. Faubion led Cedarville in rebounding with eight and pitched in 15 points of his own.

Cedarville defeated Ohio Christian Wednesday night 70-61. The Jackets won despite the fact their bench scored only three points and they only made 10 of their 19 free throws.

Cedarville lost to Walsh Thursday evening 78-73 in a game that went down to the wire.
The game went back and forth in the final minutes until Walsh scored a basket and got fouled. They made the free throw to take a three point lead with under a minute left.

Jackets Fall in Season Opener
Cedarville lost their season opener at home to Truman State Friday night by a score of 82-70.
JC Faubion lead the Jackets with 20 points and five rebounds. Easton Bazzoli added 15 points and six rebounds and Robert Okoro had 13 points and five rebounds.

Cedarville Wins 5th Straight
The Jackets matched their season-high with a five-game winning streak, defeating the Wilberforce Bulldogs 94-73 on Saturday night. Junior J.C. Faubion led the way, tying a career-high with 35 points on 75 percent shooting and five assists. Cedarville head coach Pat Estepp said Faubion matched his career high in points because of his off-ball movement.
