The Cedarville women’s basketball team added a new face to the starting lineup this season. Sophomore transfer student Baylee Bennett joined the team this season and became the starting point guard after Abby Wolford went down with an injury.

The Cedarville Lady Jackets had their four-game winning streak snapped in a 58-39 loss to the Indianapolis Greyhounds on Saturday afternoon at home. The Lady Jackets shot just 22 percent from the floor, and struggled behind the arc, making just four of their 22 three point attempts.

First-year head coach Kari Hoffman earned her first collegiate coaching win as the Cedarville Yellow Jackets defeated Cincinnati Christian, 82-61.

Lady Jackets Fall in Martin’s Last Home Game
Cedarville was unable to get into an offensive rhythm Saturday night, trailing the entire time in a 73-62 loss to Ursuline in head coach Kirk Martin’s last regular-season home game.
