Yellow Jackets Finish Preseason With Loss to Dayton

Senior guard Demond Parker implored his team to stay positive after a 93-60 loss to Dayton on Saturday. He told his team in the locker room that they won't face a better team than they faced over the past week, dropping exhibition games to Valparaiso, Ohio State, and now Dayton.
"Our bodies are hurting," Parker said. "After banging against Big 10 and Atlantic 10 teams, we know it was great preparation, but we won't face another team like that for the rest of the year."

The highest anticipated exhibition game in Cedarville history was fun for a bit, but the NCAA Division I No. 16 Ohio State Buckeyes flexed their muscles over the unranked Division II Yellow Jackets, winning 95-52. While the Yellow Jackets showed promise for the first 15 minutes or so, Ohio State was able to run away with the game.

A young Cedarville Lady Jackets lineup was overmatched and overpowered by No. 17 Hillsdale on Saturday afternoon, loosing in a sweep. Cedarville (10-6, 5-1 G-MAC) didn't lead for a single point in the entire match.
