The Cedarville Lady Jackets (5-1) continued their dominance of the Wilberforce Bulldogs, defeating Wilberforce 84-43 on Thursday night. The Lady Jackets have taken 43 of the 45 all time matchups between the two schools.

Senior guard Patrick Bain broke out for 20 second-half points to help the Cedarville Yellow Jackets topple the Ohio Christian Trailblazers, 85-71 on Tuesday night. Bain finished with 22 points and 11 rebounds for his first double-double of the season.

The Cedarville Lady Jackets (4-1) avenged last season’s loss to the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds on Monday night, handling Indy 77-55. The Lady Jackets shot 53 percent from the field and 43 percent from behind the 3-point line in the game.

The Cedarville Yellow Jackets upset the Lake Superior State Lakers on Saturday evening, 83-78, to close out the Don Callan Classic. Cedarville swept their part of the tournament, going 2-0 to improve its record to 2-2.

The Cedarville University men’s basketball program features many new faces on this season’s roster. The team loses three seniors and the team’s third-highest scorer from a year ago in Dezhonetae Bennett.
