Beans-N-Cream
When Beans-N-Cream, a coffee shop in Cedarville, moved to its current location in 2008, manager Mindy Pergram and her husband, Tony (known as "The Barber of the 'Ville"), made sure music would be a part of the new location.
“He’s always been into music,” said Pergram, referring to her husband. “When Beans moved to this spot, we said, ‘We have to have a stage.’”
And so in the corner of the coffee shop, there’s a stage designed for performers to play in ...

Jackets’ Rally Too Little, Too Late

Johnson performed Sting's "If I Ever Lose My Faith in You" before the nation Monday night, but he wasn't wearing his signature hat. Regardless, Johnson had the audience on their feet and was praised by the four coaches.
"Man, I'm running out of good things to say to you, ...
Just Sayin’: Lollipop
It was a warm fall night. Clouds filled the sky, blocking any light from the moon and stars.
The only reason we could see ahead of us was the headlamps two or three of us had grabbed before heading out for the run. We were all freshmen on the cross country team at Cedarville.
It was Labor Day weekend and we had decided it would be fun to go running in the dark on some back roads none of us had been down before. We spent the run trying to learn more about each other, talking about our ...

Unforeseen Opportunity: Johnson Heads to Live Performance Shows
Cedarville grad and “The Voice” contestant Brian Johnson describes the past week as a roller coaster.
“It’s just been an insane week, and there was a lot of emotion going into my performance day because there were eight of us that were cut on results day,” Johnson said. “I stood on stage, and I thought I could be in the bottom three, but in that moment I was thinking like, ‘If I go home tonight, I was so proud of what I put on stage, and I was so proud of like the moment that I ...
