The seniors on the Cedarville men's basketball team gave the fans a performance to remember. On a frigid Thursday night, the Yellow Jackets used blistering three-point shooting and hustle to beat the Salem International Tigers, 103-72, in front of a crowd of 1,113. For the first time in program history, a nationally ranked Cedarville women’s basketball team hosted a home game. Placed 25th in the USA Today Division II women’s poll, the Jackets handily defeated Salem International University, 71-49. SGA's Town Hall Thursday night gave students an informal and humorous chance to get to know the president, vice president and chaplain candidates for next year's Student Government Association. Cedars won the general excellence award for the third straight year as the best college newspaper in Division B in the Ohio Newspaper Association annual newspaper and website contest.
