Before Thursday, violinist Carlos Elias and his wife, pianist Andrea Arese-Elia, hadn't performed together in over six months.
Since last December, they’ve been grieving their friend and fellow musician, Andra Lunde Padrichelli, who passed away due to cancer that month.

The Cedarville Yellow Jackets earned their first notch in the win column on Saturday night, defeating the California (PA) Vulcans 4-0. After a disappointing start against Slippery Rock on Thursday, the Cedarville men looked like a different team against the Vulcans. Jackets Volleyball Finishes Invite With Dramatic 3-2 Loss To Greyhounds

Long volleys and scrappy play were the name of the game in Cedarville volleyball’s final game of the 2019 Cedarville University Invite in which they were handed a 3-2 loss to the University of Indianapolis. It was a hard fought battle by both teams with scores of 25-18, 25-22, 23-25, 22-25 and 9-15. The Jackets now have a record of 1-2.

The Cedarville Lady Jackets suffered a disappointing loss to the Anderson (SC) Trojans in front of a monster crowd on Friday night, losing 28-26, 25-18, and 25-20. Cedarville falls to 1-1 on the season after beating Northwood to open their season at the Cedarville University Invite.
