The Cedarville men’s soccer team played the Findlay Oilers, and dueled them to a scoreless draw in their conference opener, moving their record to 3-1-1 on the year.
Despite facing fifteen shots, goalkeeper Jabari Gray earned his fourth clean sheet of the year, and has so far effectively filled the shoes of former standout goalkeeper Jared Zacharias.
Findlay had heavy control of possession, but the Yellow Jacket defense fended them off for 90 minutes to escape with a draw.
Gabe Byrd, Trey McBride and Benjamin Carman each put a shot on frame but couldn’t find the back of the net.
Their conference season continues Saturday on the road against the Northwood Timberwolves.
