The Cedarville baseball team split a doubleheader at home April 5 with Oakland City, winning the opener 6-5 on Logan Eby’s one-out walk-off double that scored Elijah Sanchez in the 12th inning. The Oaks scored twice in their final at-bat to win the second game 4-3. Sophomore Noah Schleinitz pitched the final 2 1/3 innings and struck out four to earn the win in the first game. After the game, Schleinitz talked about his performance, what he was thinking and his team’s goals for the remainder of the season. The Yellow Jackets are 10-18.
