SCAB and SGA Join Forces to Put on ALT 2 and King of the Ville This Friday Night

This Friday, October 26th, Cedarville will put on their second Alt night of the year. Alt 2 will be different than any of the Alt nights before, because for this Alt night, SCAB is teaming up with the opening ceremonies for SGA’s new “King of the Ville” event.
Both SGA, Student Government Association, and SCAB, the student center activities board, worked together to combine an old and a new event.

DTR to Perform on October 25 at Thursday Night Live

On October 25, DTR will be performing during Thursday Night Live in Stinger’s.
DTR, or Define the Relationship, is an improv comedy group of 10 members who play and perform improvisation games in their monthly improv shows. Jacob Tanner, a senior biology major and the leader of the group, stated that their purpose is “to honor God and to serve the community of Cedarville through God’s gift of laughter.”

Cedarville university students, faculty, and staff strived to get their team across Cedarville University’s lake during the 25th annual Cardboard Canoe Races.

When Glenn Fawcett, owner of the hardware store on Main Street in Cedarville, died in December 2017, he had owned the store for about 18 years. Dr. Cliff Fawcett, assistant professor of nursing at Cedarville and Glenn’s brother, remembered Glenn’s connections to the community of Cedarville.

ROTC Cadet meets Chief of Staff of U.S. Army in South Korea

Senior Matthew Macklenar traveled to South Korea over the summer as part of the Army ROTC Cadet Troop Leadership Training (CTLT). While there, he met the Army Chief of Staff.
CTLT is a selective three to four week training program exclusive to Army ROTC cadets. The purpose is to put cadets in leadership positions at active duty units. While there, they shadow the person in charge to prepare them for when they are commissioned.
