Walk-off win makes winner of Jackets, Schleinitz

The Cedarville baseball team split a doubleheader at home April 5 with Oakland City, winning the opener 6-5 on Logan Eby’s one-out walk-off double that scored Elijah Sanchez in the 12th inning. The Oaks scored twice in their final at-bat to win the second game 4-3. Sophomore Noah Schleinitz pitched the final 2 1/3 innings and struck out four to earn the win in the first game. New Org at Cedarville University: A smash hit among students

A group of guys carry in a large, old-style television and a GameCube and start setting up on a desk in the classroom, which is quickly being converted into a gaming tournament field. A couple guys wave welcome before quickly returning to their friendly match of Super Smash Bros Melee on a separate GameCube setup. Across from them, another pair starts laughing as they face each other in a match of Super Smash Bros Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch.

Cedarville softball looking to get on a roll in G-MAC play

In sports and in life it is hard into a rhythm. It’s even harder to get back into one. Well, that’s what the Cedarville Lady Jackets softball team did March 23 with a 3-2 victory over Findlay in the second game of a doubleheader.
The Lady Jackets started the season hot with seven victories in their first eight games. Not only that, but on March 13, the Lady Jackets were ranked the 19th best softball team in NCAA Division II. That’s the highest they have been ranked....

Cedarville’s new newsroom offers professional opportunities to students, helps market university

Multiple departments of Cedarville University have partnered to build an on-campus newsroom which offers students, and the university as a whole, new opportunities.
