Second Act develops relationships in the community
Second Act has served Cedarville for over three years by supplying people in need with clothing and through its partnerships with other local nonprofit organization.

IBC Starts 15th Year Impacting Cedarville
The Integrated Business Core (IBC), part business course, part student organization and part fully functioning business, has begun its 15th year this semester.
Started in 2002, IBC has been available to business department students during their junior year in the fall semester.
Professors in the school of business administration Jon Austin and Jeff Guernsey, oversee the program, though the 27 members of the IBC run the business with minimal instruction.

The Cedarville University dining hall goes through a lot of food in one day. One employee, Chris Hubosky, said that in a single dinner, workers might put 500 pounds of smoked beef onto the serving lines to feed the Cedarville University community. K9s at the Ville Hosts Annual Pupperoni Night Fundraiser
K9s at the Ville, a student volunteer organization, is putting on Pupperoni Night, an event this Wednesday, Nov. 16, to fundraise and raise awareness for 4 Paws for Ability, a service dog organization based in Xenia.
Pupperoni Night is a pasta dinner with puppies and a service dog demonstration. Emily Sulka, media coordinator for K9s, said the event will include food from Olive Garden and Fazoli’s as well as a chance to hear from a family who has received a service dog.

The Greater Springfield Convention and Visitor’s Bureau (CVB) hosted its first evening farmer’s market on Thursday, Aug. 25 for students and others in the community who may not be able to make it an evening farmer’s market.
