The Cedarville Lady Jackets scored late in the second half to tie the visiting Trevecca Nazarene Trojans Sept. 24, and the two teams played to a draw, 1-1. The Cedarville men’s soccer team played their home opener Tuesday evening against 16th-ranked Tiffin University, playing the visitors to a draw, 1-1. The Jackets struck first in the 27th minute with senior Connor Gilmour’s seventh goal of the season. Defender Joe Davison, a senior, was credited with the assist. In their first home game of the season, and in front of a record crowd Tuesday night, the Cedarville women's volleyball team defeated the University of Indianapolis in a thrilling five sets, 17-25, 26-24, 25-21, 23-25, and 15-12. More than 1,100 fans attended the game, breaking the previous record of 1,074 that was set three years ago against Mount Vernon Nazarene.
