There is no better way to celebrate the Cedarville Yellow Jacket seniors than with back-to-back wins.
Both women’s and men’s soccer teams secured victories on Saturday afternoon against GMAC conference matchups, Walsh and Malone. The women’s team won 1-0 against Walsh, and the men’s team followed with a 4-0 win against Malone.

The intensity of play was high on Thursday, September 18, as the Cedarville men’s soccer team took on the University of Findlay’s Oilers for the first conference matchup of the season. Fans packed the stands, banging together pool noodles and drumming on buckets. Both teams fought valiantly to the end for the win; however, the play-by-play leaned in Cedarville’s favor, resulting in a 2-1 victory.

Audience members witnessed quite the spectacle as the skills and finesse of both teams collided during an intense game. The Yellow Jackets had 9 shots to no avail, but Eben Dewhurst held off the panthers with three saves. The Jackets move to 4-5-2 on the season, and 2-3-2 in conference matchups, currently holding sixth place in the G-MAC.
