Following the retirement of John McGillivray, new head coach Jonathan Meade is ready to assume the role and take the program to even higher heights. The Lady Jackets got a much-needed victory on homecoming Saturday, defeating conference-opponent Ohio Valley 1-0. All three of the Jackets victories this season have been 1-0. The Lady Jackets pulled through on an overtime goal to defeat Trevecca Nazarene 1-0 in the second overtime Thursday. Freshman Hannah Atkinson netted a goal into the left corner with two and a half minutes left to win the game. When John McGillivray started coaching soccer at Cedarville College in 1974, Richard Nixon resigned, Leonardo DiCaprio entered the world, gas cost 55 cents a gallon and Cedarville students paid $30 per credit hour.
