Resound Radio Dedicates New Studio
VIDEO: On Nov. 17, Cedarville President Dr. Thomas White and Loren Reno, the vice president for academics, joined broadcasting and digital media faculty, Department of Communication chair Derrick Green and students on the Resound staff for a dedication of the new studio that was installed this past summer. Green and Dr. White joined David Long and Amy Radwanski on the live afternoon show Amp Up.
Resound’s Longest-Running Show Keeps Purpose, Changes Hosts
Resound Radio’s afternoon show, Amp Up, had a complete cast change this semester when juniors Amy Radwanski and David Long took over as the new co-hosts for the show.
Former co-hosts Angela Schweinitz and Stephen Green selected Radwanski and Long to replace them last semester. Schweinitz graduated in December 2015, and Green is taking a break from college. Resound’s New Bounds
The world of radio broadcasting develops as technology develops, and Resound Radio – Cedarville University’s student-run radio station – is no different.
Resound Radio started in the ’90s as an AM station that later became a low-powered FM station. To keep up with the times, Resound exchanged its broadcast signal for online streaming capability. The station can now be heard at ResoundRadio.com.
