Walk-off win makes winner of Jackets, Schleinitz

by Jacob Bentley The Cedarville baseball team split a doubleheader at home April 5 with Oakland City, winning the opener 6-5 on Logan Eby’s one-out walk-off double that scored Elijah Sanchez in the 12th inning. The Oaks scored twice in their final at-bat to win the second game 4-3. Sophomore Noah Schleinitz pitched the final 2 1/3 innings and struck out four to earn the win in the first game. Cedarville softball looking to get on a roll in G-MAC play

Well, that’s what the Cedarville Lady Jackets softball team did March 23 with a 3-2 victory over Findlay in the second game of a doubleheader. The Lady Jackets started the season hot with seven victories in their first eight games. Not only that, but on March 13, the Lady Jackets were ranked the 19th best softball team in NCAA Division II.
