Resound Radio Dedicates New Studio
VIDEO: On Nov. 17, Cedarville President Dr. Thomas White and Loren Reno, the vice president for academics, joined broadcasting and digital media faculty, Department of Communication chair Derrick Green and students on the Resound staff for a dedication of the new studio that was installed this past summer. Writing Center Celebrates 15 Years
Students visiting the Cedarville University Writing Center for the first time this semester may be surprised at the greeting of one of its newest members: Katniss, a 6-month-old service dog in training.

K9s at the Ville Hosts Annual Pupperoni Night Fundraiser
K9s at the Ville, a student volunteer organization, is putting on Pupperoni Night, an event this Wednesday, Nov. 16, to fundraise and raise awareness for 4 Paws for Ability, a service dog organization based in Xenia.
Pupperoni Night is a pasta dinner with puppies and a service dog demonstration. Emily Sulka, media coordinator for K9s, said the event will include food from Olive Garden and Fazoli’s as well as a chance to hear from a family who has received a service dog.

The Greater Springfield Convention and Visitor’s Bureau (CVB) hosted its first evening farmer’s market on Thursday, Aug. 25 for students and others in the community who may not be able to make it an evening farmer’s market.

Goodbye Faith Hall, Hello New Dorm
Cedarville’s decision to close Faith Hall and replace it with a new women’s dorm will not destroy Faith’s legacy but rather continue it.
Cedarville University plans to tear down Faith, a women’s dorm established in 1957 from old army barracks, by the beginning of next school year. Rodney Johnson, associate vice president for operations, said the building has lived past its usefulness and cannot be renovated.

Louisana Church Benefits from Cedarville Fall Bible Conference Offering After Summer Flooding
After devastating flooding in Louisiana, a student, a family, a church and a community are bouncing back with the help of the students, faculty and staff of Cedarville University. Bekah Luce, a junior nursing major at Cedarville, and her family lost everything when the flooding struck Denham Springs, Louisiana in late August.
